Lustig Dance Theatre Prepares For 5th Anniversary Celebration

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—On November 8, 2010, Graham Lustig opened the Lustig Dance Theatre, located at 80 Albany Street in downtown New Brunswick.

The theatre has its own professional dance company that does several shows a year, recreational dance classes and even a wellness program which offers a plethora of unlimited dance and fitness classes for adults who have an interest in dance as well as remaining physically active.

Rutgers Football Team Defeated by Penn State in First Big 10 Game

PISCATAWAY, NJ—In a historic football game between the Rutgers Scarlet Knights and the Penn State Nittany Lions, Penn State beat Rutgers 13-10 in front of a capacity crowd. 

With 53,774 in attendance, the crowd was the largest in the history of the Rutgers football program, and the game was the first conference game since the school officially joined the Big Ten Athletic Conference.

Parking on Easton Ave. BANNED All Day Saturday For First-Ever Rutgers Big 10 Football Game

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—Anticipating a large amount of auto and pedestrian traffic before, during, and after Saturday's first-ever Big 10 Rutgers football game against Penn State, police have ordered no parking on the vast majority on Easton Avenue.

Starting 8am on Saturday until 4am Sunday, parking on Easton Avenue between Somerset Street and Landing Lane will be off-limits.  The road is typically free to park on with the exception of two blocks between Hamilton and Somerset Streets.

Central Jersey Jazz Festival in Downtown New Brunswick

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—The New Brunswick Jazz Project will present its 2nd Annual Jazz Festival, which is taking place this Saturday September 13th at 1 pm in Monument Square, at the intersection of Livingston Avenue and George Street in downtown New Brunswick.

The festival is a three-day long affair that kicked off Friday in Flemington, and will be taking place in downtown Somerville at 1pm Sunday outside the county courthouse.
