Famous Authors Visit New Brunswick For Young Adult & Juvenile Fiction Conference

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—On May 1, five critically acclaimed writers were invited to a Young Adult & Juvenile literature conference at the Rutgers Barnes & Noble on Somerset Street.

Entitled "The All Ages Show: Rutgers University’s First Annual YA & Juvenile Fiction Conference,” the conference invited young and old readers alike to learn more about the authors whose work crosses demographics and appeal to all ages.

Driving Record of Fire Director Marred by 19 Accidents and 18 License Suspensions

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—On April 30, 2004, Robert Rawls allegedly injured two Rutgers University employees who were crossing in a crosswalk at the intersection of George and Liberty Streets.

One woman leaped out of the way and averted injury.  Another had her pelvis broken in three places, while a third person sufferred full body contusions, according to a source.

Controversial Developer Finishes Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity House

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—A newly-constructed fraternity house is opening in the Hub City for the first time in a long time.

The latest building built by controversial developer Construction Management Associates will become the home of Zeta Beta Tau, the world's oldest and first Jewish fraternity.

Mayor James Cahill was in attendance at a ribbon-cutting ceremony held last month, as was Rutgers Greek affairs dean Joanne Arnholt.

NBPD Identifies Second Suspect in Livingston Avenue Shooting

UPDATE (10:03PM): Corey Berrian has turned himself in, as of this afternoon, according to a press release issued by the New Brunswick Police Department.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—New Brunswick Police detectives have identified Corey Berrian as the second suspect involved in Tuesday’s shooting on Livingston Avenue.

Berrian is a fugitive and police are asking for the public's help in tracking him down.
