Key Foods Recorta Entregas Después de Que Conductor Estaría Presuntamente Involucrado en Escapar de un Choque

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—El supermercado Key Food ubicado en la calle Kirkpatrick, en el centro de la ciudad, repentinamente dejó de hacer entregas a ocho días después de que uno de sus vehículos se vio involucrado en un accidente de tránsito e intento de fuga.

Key Food, como la mayoría de los supermercados en New Brunswick, ofrecía transporte hasta la casa a aquellos clientes que gastaban al menos $50 en compras de productos.

Momento Decisivo Sobre la Nueva Política de Transporte Escolar Previsto Para la Reunión de la Junta Educativa

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ– No cientos sino miles de estudiantes de las Escuelas Públicas New Brunswick han sido dejados sin transporte este año, después de un sorprendente cambio en la política.

Se espera que a la próxima reunión de la Junta de Educación asistirán padres de familia molestos quienes están buscando una solución, así como también miembros de organizaciones comunitarias locales.

Showdown Over New School Transportation Policy Set For BOE Meeting

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—Hundreds if not thousands of New Brunswick Public School students have been left without transportation this year, after a surprising change in policy.

The upcoming Board Of Education meeting is expected to be attended by upset parents that are looking for a resolution, and members of local community organizations.

The meeting is set for Tuesday, September 20 at 7PM at the New Brunswick High School Auditorium, located at 1000 Somerset Street.

No Charges Filed After Teen Riding His Bike Dies in Crash

FRANKLIN, NJ—A 13-year-old resident from Somerset is dead after being struck while riding his bike.

Andrew C. Russoniello attempted to turn left from Amwell Road onto Elizabeth bike in Franklin Township on August 29 when he was struck by a 2013 Nissan Versa, Franklin Township Police Department Sgt. Philip Rizzo said.  

The driver of that vehicle, 23-year-old Red Bank resident Robert Terracciano, remained on the scence and was not injured.

As authorities investigated the crash, Amwell Road was closed for a few hours.

New Brunswick Hosting 1st Annual Caribbean Festival

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ–The city has been hosting many events through out this summer, and the weekend of August 27 is no exception.

On August 27, downtown New Brunswick will host its First Annual Caribbean Festival.

The event will bring Caribbean cultural music, dance and food. from 1pm-6pm on Livingston Avenue in between George Street and New Street.

It's free and open to the public, although there will be vendors selling their merchandice for those who wish to purchase.
