First Public Meeting on Livingston Avenue Road Diet at Redshaw School

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—The brand-new Redshaw Elementary School on Livingston Avenue will host the first of four public meetings on an engineering study commissioned with the goal of making that roadway safer for all users on Wednesday, February 11.

The 7pm meeting at the school located, at 216 Livingston Avenue, will likely feature a brief presentation from city and county officials, or perhaps Dewberry Engineering, the firm they both hired to conduct the study.

Christie Signs Bill to Study “Pay it Forward” College Tuition Financing

TRENTON, NJ—Legislation to study different ways to make college more affordable in New Jersey was signed into law by Governor Chris Christie on Thursday, February 5.

The new law creates a "College Affordability Study Commission" that would be charged with "examining issues and developing recommendations to increase the affordability of higher education in New Jersey."

The bill, S-979, passed the State Senate on January 29, gaining the final approval from both chambers of the state legislature.
