Cahill Administration Misled Public About New Job Held by Housing Inspector Punished For Racial Slur

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—Ronald Bellafronte, a city employee who served a three-month suspension without pay for using a racial slur to describe a city attorney, will not return to his job as a housing inspector.

Instead, Bellafronte was transferred to a position the city's embattled Water Utility just eleven days after the department's Director resigned.

Police Seek Help Finding Suspect in Remsen Avenue Shooting From Last Month

UPDATE (7/18): Timothy Ross turned himself in to Detectives with the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ–The New Brunswick Police Department is asking for help from the public with any tips or information they may have on a shooting that occurred on Remsen Avenue last month.

Police also warned the public about a fugitive suspect, Timothy Ross, a 41-year-old man from New Brunswick.  Residents are told to call police if he is spotted.
