NBHS Class of 1958 Offers $10,000 Reward For Information on Murder of Classmate

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ–The New Brunswick High School class of 1958 is offering a $10,000 reward for anyone with new information regarding the homicide of their classmate Gail Hariton.

Hariton was found murdered in her apartment back in 2000 at the age of 59.  The class announced the reward at their 55th reunion last May.

Each year they award a $1,000 scholarship to a high school student moving onto to college, but this year classmate George G. Gussis introduced the idea of a reward in honor of their slain friend.

Pro Athletes Prevail Over City All-Stars 82-79 in Celebrity Basketball Fundraiser

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—The 2014 New Brunswick Celebrity Basketball game was a success as members of the community joined together with former Rutgers football stars, creating a positive spectacle for the hundreds who came out.

They gathered inside New Brunswick High School’s gymnasium to support a good cause, enjoy a fun and unique basketball game, and welcome back and interact with several professional football players, who once represented the Scarlet Knights of Rutgers University.

Rutgers to Offer “Mini-MPA” Certification Program Fridays in April

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ–Public and non-profit managers who are interested in leadership roles can now register for the spring session of Rutgers' Mini-Masters in Public Administration program, which offers classes in New Brunswick.

The 30-hour program is conveniently structured for working professionals with classes on five Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 4, 11, 25 and May 2 and 9.
