Punk Rock Show at Boyd Park Celebrates New Brunswick Music Scene

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — An energetic punk rock concert featuring local artists from the New Brunswick music scene was held in Boyd Park on Saturday, September 12.

On a cloudy, yet warm afternoon, the artists and crowd were thankful that the lack of rain allowed for such a lively event.

Many bands from Don Giovanni Records as well as local Rutgers and high school artists from New Brunswick were showcased throughout the day.

Lost Yiddish Operetta to be Performed at Rutgers

NEW YORK, NY—The National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene will present a long lost operetta at the Nicholas Music Center at Rutgers University as part of the 2015 Mason Gross Summer Series, on August 5 at 7 p.m.

The NYTF is the world’s longest running and America’s only surviving Yiddish Theater Company.

The operetta, entitled Di Goldene Kale, which translates to The Golden Bride, is a story about an orphan girl who attracts many suitors after she gains an inheritance.
