NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—Promise Culinary School on Livingston Avenue hosted an "Open House" on October 29 showcasing its affordable and quality culinary education programs.

Promise Culinary School opened its doors 13 years ago as a division of Elijah’s Promise, the city-based social services organization that started as a soup kitchen.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—Arnold Anderson, a teacher at Roosevelt Elementary School, was reported late 46 times during the 2013-2014 school year and 65 times in the previous school year by the school's principal.

According to the charge against him, he was late by five minutes or more on sixteen occasions.

The city school district pressed for Anderson's termination from Roosevelt Elementary School as a result of continuous tardiness, but Anderson argued that the school's principal was out to get him.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—Rutgers Against Hunger has teamed up with New Brunswick’s Play S.A.F.E to create the new "Snack Pack Service Project" this summer, made possible by donations from ShopRite, the Embrace Kids Foundation, Johanna foods, and Affinity Federal Credit Union.

Rutgers Against Hunger (RAH) collaborated with New Student Orientation to host a community service opportunity for students while they were at orientation.
