SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ–A first-grade teacher at Lincoln Elementary School in Edison was arrested February 14 after an investigation by South Brunswick Police into a party at her house the night before.

Tracey Harding, also known as Tracey Stricker, was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a second-degree crime punishable by 5-10 years in prison, after a 15 year-old male was allegedly found highly intoxicated in the basement of her Homestead Lane residence.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ–A crowd of more than 200 people came out to the steps of the Brower Commons for a candlelight vigil held for the three Muslim college students killed in a February 10 shooting in Raleigh, North Carolina.

They came out despite the freezing cold weather, carrying signs and candles, sharing their thoughts and expressing grief over what is now believed to be a fatal dispute over parking in an apartment complex near the campus of the University of North Carolina.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—Representatives of a local disabilities advocacy organization came out to the February 5 Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders meeting to express support for a resolution installing audible crosswalks at four county intersections.

The Alliance Center for Independence had worked with the mayors of Edison and Woodbridge for a year and a half to secure permission and funding to have the equipment installed at intersections near the center's headquarters at 629 Amboy Avenue in Edison.
