Man Shot in Both Legs at Commercial Avenue Apartment Complex

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—The New Brunswick Police Department (NBPD) is investigating a shooting that injured a 19-year-old resident in the early morning hours of Monday, June 19.

According to the police statement, the victim was with friends outside of building 1 at the New Brunswick Apartments, located at 33 Commercial Avenue, shortly after 12 am, when he was  shot in both legs.

23-Year-Old Man Injured in Shooting at Delavan and Throop

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—The New Brunswick Police Department (NBPD) is investigating a shooting that injured a 23-year-old male during the early morning hours of June 8.

This was apparently the first in a series of shootings that occurred on Throop Avenue near Delavan Street.

According to a video from a security camera, a man wearing a gray hoodie opened fire on a vehicle at 12:51 A.M as it backed up on Delavan Street.

According to residents, the shootings are becoming very frequent in the summer months.

Three Injured in Vicious Robbery Attacks Near Railroad Avenue

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—Residents were on high alert after a dead body was discovered in a construction site on Remsen Avenue, on the afternoon of May 14.

Though police did not believe any crimes occurred in connection with that death, the incident came amid of a string of violent robberies that left three men injured in another neighborhood a few blocks away.

MCPO: Pastor robó $700 mil de una empresa de plomería donde trabajaba

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ— El 28 de marzo, las autoridades anunciaron que un miembro del clero había recibido cargos por robar aproximadamente $700.000 en su trabajo secundario en una compañía local de reparaciones.

Robert Keith de 46 años y residente de West Orange, recibió cargos por robo de tarjetas de crédito, lavado de dinero, falsificación, robo por apropiación ilícita, y uso ilegal de tarjetas de crédito, conforme a la declaración oficial.

Organización de Rutgers marcha por sobrevivientes de agresión sexual

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ– La Organización de Mujeres Contra el Acoso (WOAH por sus siglas en inglés) de Rutgers University organizaron una protesta el miércoles, 19 de Abril, que empezó con una manifestación en College Hall de Douglas Campus a las 7 p.m.

La marcha dio inicio a las 8 p.m., afuera de College Hall, ubicado en la calle 125 George Street, y recorrió las calles de New Brunswick hasta Voorhees Hall, ubicado en la esquina de Hamilton Street y College Avenue.
