METUCHEN, NJ—On Saturday June 27, the Forum Theater in Metuchen will be hosting a comedy showcase featuring many comedians with roots in the Hub City.

Colonel Mastodon is "comedy brand" created by comedian Daniel Farley in the summer of 2014 and since then this brand has been hosting monthly shows at Tumulty's Pub in downtown New Brunswick and Hailey's Harp & Pub in Metuchen.

The Colonel Mastodon brand has grown in popularity so much that Farley was able to branch out to present a night of comedy in the 500-plus seat Forum Theater.

Farley has teamed with a small business based in New Brunswick to present the lineup that includes some of the best comics in New Jersey and New York.

Comics include Lauren Pollack, Frank Vamos, Jimmie Allinder, Justin Flanagan, JC Hendricks, Dan Farley, Patrick Goldsmith, and Gordon Baker-Bone. The show will be hosted by Reggie Parker, the author of this article.

All of the comics have extensive experience performing in the tri-State area and were all specifically selected to put on a fantastic show.

RU Vaping is a new Vapor Shop and lounge located at 40 Easton Avenue in New Brunswick. The shop specializes in personal vaporizers battery-powered devices that simulate the feeling of smoking by vaporizing flavored e-liquids.

Since their introduction to the market, personal vaporizers' global usage has risen exponentially.  "Vaping" is so popular amongst the comedians and many of the audience members that the Colonel Mastodon producers saw it fit to team up with RU Vaping, which carries a variety of starter kits, batteries, other accessories, and more than 160 flavors of "e-juice."

RU Vaping staff members will be setting up a display table at the venue and exhibiting several of their products and answering questions before the show starts.

Pre-sale tickets for the event are $15, and at the door tickets are $20.

Doors open at 7pm on June 27.  The legendary Forum Theater is located at 314 Main Street in Metuchen.
