MCPO: Pastor robĂł $700 mil de una empresa de plomerĂ­a donde trabajaba

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ— El 28 de marzo, las autoridades anunciaron que un miembro del clero había recibido cargos por robar aproximadamente $700.000 en su trabajo secundario en una compañía local de reparaciones.

Robert Keith de 46 años y residente de West Orange, recibió cargos por robo de tarjetas de crédito, lavado de dinero, falsificación, robo por apropiación ilícita, y uso ilegal de tarjetas de crédito, conforme a la declaración oficial.

Protest Targets J&J CEO on Day of Annual Shareholders Meeting

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ–Members of  the Mesh Awareness Movement (MAM) want Johnson & Johnson’s shareholders “to know they are investing in criminal behavior,” according to a statement.

The group, a grassroots effort to bring awareness to the harmful effects of mesh on the human body, held a rally against J&J in New Brunswick on April 27, during its annual meeting of shareholders.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ– La Organización de Mujeres Contra el Acoso (WOAH por sus siglas en inglés) de Rutgers University organizaron una protesta el miércoles, 19 de Abril, que empezó con una manifestación en College Hall de Douglas Campus a las 7 p.m.

La marcha dio inicio a las 8 p.m., afuera de College Hall, ubicado en la calle 125 George Street, y recorrió las calles de New Brunswick hasta Voorhees Hall, ubicado en la esquina de Hamilton Street y College Avenue.

Rutgers Gardens Spring Flower Fair Offers Impressive Variety

NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ—An extensive array of blossoming flowers, unique succulents, and various garden plants will be available to the public on the weekend of May 12-14 at Rutgers Gardens.

Organizers of the annual event are offering an increased selection of unusual and hard-to-find plants, but will have plenty of familiar favorites on hand, and offer a variety of plants to help provide solutions to difficult home garden sites.

$500 Reward Offered For Info on String of Shootings in Somerset

FRANKLIN, NJ—On May 3, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson announced that the privately-run county "Crime Stoppers" is offering "rewards of up to $500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction" of the shooters behind as tring of "non-fatal shootings."

It started at approximately 3:35 p.m. on April 19, when Franklin Township Police Department (FTPD) responding to reports gunshots found a 29-year-old New Brunswick man outside of a residence on Fuller Street.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—The religious landscape in the Hub City has been constantly changing, especially due to the arrival of new immigrants, over the past century.

Religious communities helped immigrant families become integrated into American society and provided great resources for new families.

However, the trend of relying on a church or religious community is greatly reducing as people are becoming more connected with one another and banding together, not by religion, but by shared morality.
