Hombre de Elizabeth acusado de golpear a una mujer de 30 años, dejándola casi muerta en Raritan Center

EDISON, NJ- Un hombre de 61 años de Elizabeth enfrenta serios cargos tras haber sido arrestado por golpear una mujer de 30 años a quien presuntamente habría secuestrado en Newark, y dejarla casi muerta en Edison.

Mickey Vanderpool fue acusado por el presunto ataque que ocurrió en junio de 2016, contra una mujer que aparentemente conocía, según las autoridades.

Vanderpool supuestamente conoció a la mujer no identificada en Newark antes de golpearla y dejarla en un parque en Edison.

New Bail and Speedy Trial Laws Take Effect in New Jersey

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—All defendants arrested on a warrant in New Jersey are now subject to a new system involving them being given a "risk assessment" score, also known as a Public Safety Assessment (PSA) score.

Thanks to new state laws, and an amendment to the State Constitution approved by voters in 2014, New Jersey courts have moved towards a new model of deciding conditions of release and bail for criminal defendants.

No hubo daños tras explosión de un iPhone en un aula de NB High School

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ- El 12 de enero, un teléfono habría explotado en la escuela secundaria de New Brunswick, según el testimonio de varios estudiantes y profesores.

La explosión ocurrió cerca del mediodía después de que un estudiante dejó caer su teléfono, mientras lo cargaba conectado a un tomacorriente dentro de un aula D-pod en el segundo piso.

Todas las fuentes que fueron entrevistadas por New Brunswick Today dijeron que el teléfono que estalló era un iPhone.

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ—A man is known by the company he keeps, or so the saying goes.

New US President Donald Trump and New Jersey's Governor Chris Christie have been friends for over a decade.

Both Trump and Christie siezed power by defeating establishment candidates in upset elections.

While it remains to be seen whether Trump's story arc will follow that of Christie's spectacular downfall, it is apparent both men have quite a bit in common.
