NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—The New Brunswick Police Department (NBPD) is investigating a hit and run crash that injured two young pedestrians on Halloween night.
On October 31, shortly after 6:30pm, a mother and her three children were crossing Livingston Avenue at the intersection of Wellington Place and Lawrence Street when a Toyota Camry struck two of the persons,
The victims were identified as a 14-month-old female toddler that was in her stroller and a 8-year-old girl that was walking with her.
Both victims were transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. The 14 month-old girl received scrapes to head and face as for the 8-year girl she received a broken toe, according to the NBPD.
“The driver of the vehicle was located approximately one (1) hour later by New Brunswick Officers in North Brunswick,” reads the NBPD press release.
The driver was identified as 30-year-old Brian Michael from North Brunswick, and police said their investigation is ongoing.
