NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—The Children’s Hospital at Saint Peter’s University Hospital is hosting a children’s fashion show to benefit the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) on Friday, September 30.

At the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown New Brunswick, several children and teens will be modeling clothing to raise money for the NICU.

“Twinkle Twinkle NICU Star” is the title of the fashion show as the stars of the show will be the “graduates,” former patients of the NICU.  The event starts at 5:30 pm and ends at 10:30 pm.

The event will feature the runway fashion show, raffles, gift basket drawings, and a dinner. Tickets for adults are $65 and $45 for children under 12.

The event is sponsored by several gracious entities with levels of sponsorship ranging from $500 to $5,000. Such sponsors include Amerlux, New Brunswick Development Corporation (DEVCO), Mayor Jim Cahill and the New Brunswick City Council.

“This is a first-time event and the response we have been receiving has been overwhelmingly positive,” said Alysse Collevechio, Stewardship Coordinator of Saint Peter’s Foundation.

The NICU of Saint Peter’s University Hospital is one of the largest between Washington, D.C, and Boston. It is considered a Level III and is part of New Jersey’s first state designed Perinatal Center.

The care at this facility includes the medical, surgical and follow up care of infants and newborns, and since it has been been opened has treated thousands of babies.
