FRANKLIN, NJ—A Franklin Township man is wanted by local police and the Somerset County Prosecutor’s office on charges of sexually assaulting two children.

Daniel Serrano-Urbina, a resident of Somerset Street in the Somerset section of Franklin, is facing multiple charges including two counts of 1st-degree Aggravated Sexual Assault, two counts of 2nd-degree Sexual Assault, and two counts of 3rd-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

According to a press release issued by the office of Acting Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson, “On Friday, July 1, 2016, Franklin Township Police received a report that two minor children, under the age of 13, had been sexually assaulted by defendant Serrano-Urbina within the jurisdiction of Franklin Township.”

“An investigation was conducted by detectives from the Franklin Township Police Department, as well as the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Unit,” reads the release.

Serrano has not yet been apprehended by authorities.
