NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—Twice each month, the city’s famous Court Tavern hosts an artists showcase on Sunday evenings.

The event is called “Soft Sounds & Creative Wonders” and this Sunday includes singer/songwriter stripped down acoustic sets paired with local artists showcasing their work in a mini-gallery and an open mic for comedians.

The event includes musical performances by:
SheepishWolf
Relms
Ron Tomaino (record release party for “Whiskey Breath”)
Catch Me If You Can (release party for his debut album “Okay…”)

The open mic for comedians will begin at 8:40PM.

The featured artist/vendor this Sunday is Christopher Lu.

The shows are the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month and begin at 6PM. There is a $5 cover at the door and guests must be 21 or over to attend.

Sign-ups for the comedy open mic will begin taking place at 8PM. They will be on a first come, first served basis.

Comedians each get 3-4 minutes on stage. If you come to perform, you have to pay a smaller cover charge: $2.

The Court Tavern is located at 124 Church Street, in downtown New Brunswick. The talent level of New Brunswick artists will be on full display at the longstanding venue.
