NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ–To celebrate a year of accomplishments and hard-hitting news, New Brunswick Today is hosting a party on November 8 from 5 PM-9PM at The Court Tavern.
This party, which is open to the public, will have great food from local restaurants, a live band, and is a great opportunity to meet some amazing people.
In addition to the great party, we are also honoring a New Brunswick resident who truly makes a difference with our first annual Hub City Hero award.
Through a reader poll, we have chosen six nominees who work to improve New Brunswick in a variety of ways such as community advocacy, environmental protection, and creating long term outreach programs. You can vote for the person you think is most deserving of the award.
Over the last year New Brunswick Today has grown and improved so much. We have been the first, and sometimes the only, to cover huge stories such as water quality in New Brunswick, construction and development on Mine Street, and the supermarket saga.
Our reporters are community focused and determined to always tell our readers the truth.
Through the help of the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation we launched a brand new reader engagement program called NBToday Listens.
This program encourages our readers to ask questions about New Brunswick, and then team up with a member of the newspaper to investigate the answer together, using innovative approach connects our readers and our reporters on a new level that brings our community closer together.
New Brunswick Today works hard to be both a newspaper and a community institution. More than just covering the news, NBToday also reports on the businesses and community members of New Brunswick.
We go out and interact with the community on all the issues, big and small, and try our best to help out whenever we can. Our stories get to the heart of New Brunswick, and shine light on all parts of the city.
