NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—The Rutgers University Glee club will be hosting its 143rd Spring Concert, on Saturday, May 2, at 7:30pm.

The concert will be held on Rutgers’ Douglass Campus, at the Nicholas Music Center, 85 George St, New Brunswick.

Classical music enthusiasts can enjoy the 80-member, all-male group’s performing a number of diverse songs, in different languages.

The concert will feature songs sung in English, Estonian, Welsh, Russian, Latin, and Hindi.

The night’s program features several rare songs, including Estonian composer’s Veljo Tormis’s The Last Ship, and Pikse Litaania.

According to the Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts webpage, the concert serves a preview for the Glee Club’s summer European Tour.

During the tour, the Club will visit the University of Utrecht and the Chapel of the Old Royal Naval College in England. 

Tickets are $15 for the general public, $10 for senior citizens, Rutgers alumni, and faculty, and just $5 for students.
