Chris Christie Hits the Road, Traveling to New Hampshire Yet Again

LONDONDERRY, NH–Although he has not yet announced his candidacy, New Jersey Governor Christie continues to make it clear he is seeking the nation's highest office by embarking on a series of public appearances across the state of New Hampshire. 

A town hall meeting was held in Londonderry, NH on April 15, and Christie plans to make appearances on April 17 and 18 at the First-in-the-Nation Republican Leadership Summit in Nashua.

Johnson & Johnson Quietly Switches Venues, Shortens 2015 Shareholders Meeting

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ–For the first time since April 26, 1989, Johnson & Johnson's annual shareholders meeting will be held at the historic State Theatre in New Brunswick.

After frequent protests at previous shareholder meetings, the consumer products giant has quietly moved the big meeting, coming up on April 23 at 10 a.m., from its usual location, the Hyatt Regency Hotel, and has significantly shortened the meeting to one hour.

Rutgers President Has Kept Lucrative Jobs at Companies That Do Business with Rutgers

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—Rutgers University President Robert Barchi has been getting paid from multiple entities with competing financial interests, including the taxpayers and tuition-payers at the state university, and two companies that do business with Rutgers.

All told, Barchi made well over $1 million dollars last year, a combination of his public salary with two side jobs serving on the Boards of Directors of private companies that sell products to Rutgers.

Jonathan Casillas Signs with Giants After Winning Super Bowl

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—On March 10, just over a month after his second career Super Bowl win, New Brunswick's Jonathan Casillas signed a three-year contract with the New York Giants.

The Giants are the fourth NFL team Casillas will play for in his career, and the third in less than a year.

As we reported, a sour start at the beginning of the season turned into a dream come true for the 27-year-old football star, after he was traded to one of winningest football teams in NFL history.

Speakers Connect Palestine to American Police State at Rutgers PCRF Gala

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—Just weeks before the state of Palestine was recognized as an official member of the International Criminal Court, several speakers at a sold-out event in New Brunswick compared the struggle of its people to the tension between police and civilians in the United States.

On March 12, members of the Rutgers chapter of the Palestinia Children Relief Fund (PCRF) successfully raised over $5,500 at their annual Spring Gala.
