Update (3/24): The Middlesex Prosecutor’s Office has apprehended 19-year-old Calvin Morton of New Brunswick.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office (MCPO) Fugitive Unit has issued a an alert for fugitive Calvin Morton, age 19.

The alert, like most Middlesex County Crime Stoppers messages, indicates that prosecutors are willing to extradite the fugitive from any state in the country.

Morton has been wanted since February 13, in relation to case #14-0898.  According to the MCPO, Morton failed to appear for his sentencing on charges of second-degree aggravated assault, as well as fourth-degree for rioting.

It marked the first time the county proseuctor’s office used its Nixle alert system for such an announcement. The system had not been used to make any announcements in over a year.

Morton is described as a black male, approximately 6’ 0’’ tall and weighing 150 pounds. Morton also has the tattoos on both of his arms as well as his chest.

The tattoo on the right arm says “Neveah”, the left arm says “Leya”, and on his chest it says “lord forgive me for my sins.”

Morton was last seen in the area of Trenton, according to the announcement.
