NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—The New Brunswick Police Department (NBPD) has identified 32-year-old Christopher Green as a possible suspect in an armed robbery that occurred at a Jones Avenue residence almost two months ago.

Green, a resident of Highland Park, is described as an African-American male, 6′ 1″ tall,  and weighing approximately 180 pounds. He has a tattoo of stars on his chest and hands with rosary beads on his left arm.

Police said that Green is armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

Police said that he and two other unknown suspects entered the victim’s home on December 29 and held the resident at gunpoint while robbing him of marijuana, electronics, and a jacket.

“These same three suspects robbed the same victim approximately four weeks earlier at the same location; again stealing the victim’s marijuana,” reads the NBPD press release.

The New Brunswick Police Department has investigated several home invasion robberies over the last few months, and they say that “a majority” of them involved victims in possession of illegal drugs, and the suspects have had prior interaction with the victims, usually involving the sale or purchase illegal drugs.

The NBPD said that these robberies are not random acts and that the victims have been knowingly targeted.

If anyone has information or knows Christopher Green’s location, they are asked to call NBPD Detective Harry Lemmerling at (732) 745-5217.

Rutgers University’s Police Department has not shared any information about Green via their crime alert system, despite alerting the community of the home invasion back in December.
