NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ–Registration for the Scarlet KIDS Summer Camp 2015 is now open for children in grades first through eighth.

The co-ed recreational program was previously called “Happy Campers.”

The camp is divided by age groups in “Junior,” “Senior,” and “Tweens and Teens” categories. Placement is determined by the grade the child will enter next fall.

The program is headquartered at a new loacation in the Cook Campus Center at Rutgers University. The on-campus location provides access to  nearby fields, pools, and gymnasiums.

The Scarlet KIDS Summer Camp has flexible registration, so parents can register their children for any number of weeks they choose.

Rates begin at $300 a week, including before and after care, breakfast, lunch, a snack, a camp t-shirt, and all activities.

The activities are based around a weekly theme and include arts and crafts, science activities, fitness classes, swimming, games, cooking, weekly field trips and other special classes.

Registration is on a first-come, first0serve basis, with priority given to children enrolling for the entire camp season.

The registration form can be found on the Douglas Psychology Childcare website.Â
