NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—On Sunday, the 14 annual New Jersey Soap Box Derby and Classic Car Show took place along Johnson Drive and in the parking lot at Johnson and Johnson’s worldwide headquarters.

Run by the All-American Soap Box Derby (AABSD), competitors aged 7-17 were divided into three divisions.

Winners Ryan Pierson  (Super Stock), Jeff Clouser (Masters) and Hannah Lehrian (Stock) each will advance to the International Soap Box Derby, to be held in Akron, Ohio on July 26.

For adults and children with special needs, an adult and super kids division was available for them to participate in the event free of charge.  This is the first year for the super kids division, where participants drove in cars with two steering wheels made by Johnson and Johnson.

The car show, run by Hollywood Night Cruisers, was also a big hit this year, attracting a wide variety of classic cars and providing yet another exciting element to the popular event.

In addition to Johnson in Johnson, the 14th annual Soap Box Derby and Classic Car Show was sponsored by AmeriHealth New Jersey, New Brunswick Recreation and Turtle & Hughes.
