The Zebras will join the Blue Division beginning next fall, after playing in the White Division this year.
Either way, they are expected to face a tough schedule, said school board member Patricia Sadowski at this week’s meeting.
Other teams in the Blue Division include Dunellen, Highland Park, Metuchen, Middlesex, South River, and Spotswood.
In 2013, the Zebras sufferred eight losses before winning their final game of the season over Hightstown High School.
Other opponents this year included Woodbridge, Perth Amboy, Bishop Ahr, JFK, and St. Joseph’s.
The new divisional alignment will be in effect for at least two seasons, according to a document posted on the conference website.
