NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—World of Beer, a new chain bar and restaurant has been catching eyes on George Street for many weeks now.  And today, it will open to the public for the first time at noon, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for 6pm.

The chain, which started in Tampa, Florida, has over 50 locations in the US and is planning to expand to Albany, Syracuse, Philadelphia, and Princeton in the near future.  The New Brunswick store represents the first World of Beer in the Northeast

The new store sports one of the largest beer selections ever offerred in New Brunswick, as well as an appealing “tavern fare” food menu and free wireless internet access.

Whether you like your light pale ale or your hoppy IPA’s, World of Beer not only has a selection of over 500 brews in-house and 50 different brews on tap but they also partner with local breweries and distilleries to provide the customer with an impressive and vast variety.

Not really a fan of the brews?

Not a problem, World of Beer also offers a selection of wine and cocktails.  But of course World of Beer strikes again using its unique vision with introducing their legendary beer-infused craft cocktails.

Whether you’re looking for something beer-battered and fried, vegetarian, or a mouth watering bratwurst paired with a special beverage, they have found a way to satisfy all bar crawlers’ taste buds.  Opening today, go to World of Beer right off on George St. Next to Radio Shack and experience the new way to enjoy beer.

The bar will be open until midnight Sunday through Thursday nights.  On Friday and Saturday, World of Beer will stay open until 2am, the latest allowed by city law.

Management said that after 7pm, patrons must have a valid picture ID that proves they are 21 or older to enter.
