NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—The Fab Faux are scheduled to perform at the historic State Theatre once again this Saturday Novemer 23.  This time they will be accompanied by their own horns and strings sections.

Will Lee, the house bassist on David Letterman’s talk show, and his neighbor Rich Vivino, band leader for Conan O’Brien’s show, started the cover band  in 1998 along with New Jersey’s Jack Petruzelli, Rich Pagano, and Frank Agnello.

The Fab Faux have toured with the Hogshead Horns and The Crème Tangerine Strings before.

Ticket prices range from $40 to $110. Post-show meet and greet deals are also available for $25.

Free HD Viewing on 11/25: Le Corsaire in HD

Monday November 25 at 6:30pm, there will be a free HD viewing of a performance of ‘Le Corsaire,’ captured live from The Bolshoi Ballet in Moscow, Russia. This famous company has been performing versions of ‘Le Corsaire’ since 1858.

As we reported this summer, the theatre recently installed a 46-foot screen to show movies and live performances such as this one.

Before the movie, there will be an introductory speech about the Ballet from Mary Pat Robertson of the American Repertory Ballet and Princeton Ballet.

Also: Special School Performances

The morning of November 25, there will be two special performances for local school children: The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Other Eric Carle Favorites.

Schools may purchase tickets at a cost of $8 per seat.

For more information about any of these performances or to purchase tickets, call the State Theatre ticket office at (732) 246-7469.
