NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—New Jersey Blood Services (NJBS), based in New Brunswick, is asking for the public’s help to maintain an adequate supply of “universal” blood.

And they are offerring a valuable incentive: a chance to win tickets to New Jersey’s first Super Bowl.

People with O-negative blood are known as “universal donors” because their blood can be transfused into anyone in emergency rooms and trauma situations when there is no time for blood typing.

NJ Blood Services parent organization provides blood to more than 200 area hospitals.  Below is a list of their blood drives scheduled for this month in the City of New Brunswick:
