NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—Over forty different restaurants in New Brunswick are offering a variety of “Restaurant Week” deals this week, up from 25 that participated last year.

The two-week long discounts continue through this Saturday, July 27.  The campaign is organized by New Brunswick City Market, a quasi-governmental agency that promotes local businesses in the downtown area.

Below is a sampling of the offers available as part of the promotion.

Located on Dennis Street, the Frog and the Peach is offering their lunch menu for just $19 and their dinner menu for $42.  Next door, Delta’s offers their menu for $37.95.

On Church Street, Steakhouse 85 offers a deal for two: $99 per couple for the deal plus a bottle of wine.

It’s $26 for the fixed price menu at the George Street Ale House, and or $25 for Harvest Moon Brewery & Cafe, also located on the downtown’s main drag.  Further down George Street it’s $31/$35 for the menu at Makeda Ethiopan Restaurant.

On Livingston Avenue, Christopher’s Bar and Restaurant (in the Heldrich Hotel) charges $30 with $20 wine pairings.  Across the street, Catherine Lombardi also offers a menu for $30 per person.
