NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—White Rose Hamburgers, also known as White Rose System, is set to officially open today at 43 Easton Avenue, according to owner Michael Litos.

And the good news gets better: White Rose on Easton Avenue will also offer delivery in the near future.

White Rose in Highland Park has been a local favorite since it opened in 1957.  White Roses’s well-known sliders are one of a kind: above-average sized patties come on a soft kaiser roll and are topped with a generous amount of cheese and sautéed onions.

Aside from burgers, shakes, and fries, New Jersey diner classics like pork roll sandwiches and egg platters dominate the menu.

Legendary taste and great value have kept Central Jersey residents coming back for decades.  A cheeseburger costs only $2.85 and nothing on the menu exceeds $7.95.

The new White Rose is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. With about 25 seats, White Rose on Easton Avenue is considerably larger than the restaurant in Highland Park.

Litos says it won’t stay open twenty-four hours at first, but that could change.  For now the restaurant will close at 4am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and still be open until midnight the rest of the week.

White Rose has kept New Brunswick in giddy anticipation for the past six months beginning with the placement of a large banner proclaiming “White Rose Hamburgers Coming Soon,” as we reported earlier this year.
