NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—A young man was shot and wounded in the posterior during a robbery on Fulton Street early Saturday morning on June 15, according to New Brunswick police.

The 19-year-old victim was walking along Fulton Street when two male suspects described as wearing ski masks suddenly approached the victim and demanded money. The victim was then threatened by one of the suspects who brandished a handgun.

Fearing for his life, he victim gave his cell phone to the suspects and was then shot in the buttocks during the exchange.

The suspects fled on foot and escaped the authorities while the victim was taken to, and then treated at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for the non-life-threatening injury.
