NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—Incumbents Benito Ortiz, Pat Sadowski, and John Krenos were victorious in today's election to keep their seats on the city's elected school board
987 city residents turned out to vote at the city's thirteen polling places today.
Benito Ortiz lead the six candidates with 69% of the votes cast, followed closely by running mates Sadowski and Krenos, with 65% and 63% respectively.
Challenger Sean Monahan, who co-founded this newspaper, came in fourth place with 38% of the vote, followed by his running mates, Stephanie Rivera and Martin Arocho, with 35% and 30% respectively.
