NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—City police are working with authorities in Somerset County and New York to investigate the disappearance of a college student who has been missing since Tuesday.

Paige Aiello, a Hillsborough resident who attends The College of New Jersey in Ewing and works two jobs, has not been seen since Tuesday afternoon.

Many fear the worst in the case of her disappearance because her personal belongings were found on the southbound side of the George Washington Bridge, shortly after she was reported missing by her parents Tuesday evening.

City police discovered her mother’s vehicle, an Audi A4 that disappeared along with Aiello, at 10:19pm last night in the Gateway Parking Garage next to the New Brunswick train station.

Aiello is a captain on the TCNJ tennis team, and preparing to attend law school at Rutgers-Newark.  Today is her twenty-second birthday, according to a report on NJ.com.

According to the report, Hillsborough police said that they do not suspect foul play.

Anyone with information on Aiello’s disappearance is asked to call the Hillsborough Township Police Department at (908) 369-4323, the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office at (908) 575-3300, or Somerset County Crime Stoppers’ Tip Line at (888) 577-TIPS(8477).
