NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—On March 4, nearly a year after Brian Clements ran over a 52-year-old pedestrian while driving drunk, the Manalapan motorist was sentenced to serve up to 13 years in a New Jersey state prison.
Clements pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide and fleeing the scene of a fatality, after striking and killing Silvia Reyes-Ramos, a city resident and mother of four children.
At the time of her accident, her only son was nine years old and her daughters were age 36, 29, and 18.
