NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—Darryll Underwood has been charged with gun crimes for the second time this month, according to a release from the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.

Police determined that Underwood targeted a 28-year-old Raheem Fuqua, shooting him and killing a 21-year-old mother in front of the city’s Progressive Masonic Temple on Hale Street shortly after 2am on October 6.

Underwood, of Edison, was served with the new charges at his new place of residence: Middlesex County Jail in North Brunswick.  His new bail was set at $1.5 million.

Eariler this month, Underwood was arrested and charged with wounding a 21-year-old New Brunswick man shortly on Easton Avenue

For that incident, which occurred in September, Underwood is being prosecuted for attemped murder, possession of a handgun for an unlawful purpose, possession of a handgun withouth a permit, and rioting.
