NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—A new fitness & wellness center opening in partnership with Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital is holding a career fair tonight in the former site of the Rutgers University bookstore.

The fair runs from 5-7pm in the Ferren Mall, located directly across from New Brunswick’s train station.  Walk-ins are welcome, and those who wish to pre-register can do so here.

The new fitness center says they are seeking qualified candidates for the roles of Managers, Membership Counselors, Customer Service Representatives, Exercise Physiologists, Personal Trainers, Group Fitness Instructors, Pilates Reformer Instructors, Aquatics Directors, Lifeguards, WSI Instructors, Nurses RN/LPN, Childcare Staff, and Receptionists.

The fitness center is currently scheduled to open on November 15, and has already signed up about 3,000 members.  Similar facilities have opened in Hamilton and Rahway that also use the Robert Wood Johnson name.

The former bookstore where the fair is taking place has been serving as a hiring center or the new FreshGrocer supermarket that will open in the same building as the fitness center.  They too are accepting applications during regular business hours, and the company says it has hired 270 workers already.
