NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—Emergency vehicles responded to a fire that broke out tonight around 11pm at a warehouse on the border between New Brunswick and Somerset County’s Franklin Township.

Fire companies from as far away as East Brunswick and Edison responded to the blaze at 366 Somerset Street, the home of Ding & A Trading Corporation.

Firefighters battled the blaze well into the morning, which sent smoke all through the city’s downtown and the area of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

The warehouse  building is located near the intersection with Florence Street, the last intersection before Somerset and French Streets meet at the county line.
