PISCATAWAY, NJ—A historic music series has been taking place recently on Sundays at East Jersey Olde Town Village, a county-owned historic area located within Johnson Park at 1050 River Road in Piscataway.
The "village" features a collection of original, replicated, and reconstructed structures from the 18th and 19th centuries, such as the New Brunswick Barracks, Runyon House, Williamson Wheelwright Shop, Fitzrandolph House and Smalleytown Schoolhouse.
EDISON, NJ—Middlesex County’s “Plays in the Park” is closing out its summer 2016 season with a two-week run of the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical “South Pacific.”
The musical performances run from July 27 through August 6, with the exception of Sunday, July 31. All performances begin at 8:30 pm at the Stephen J. Capestro Theater, located in Roosevelt Park, just south of the Menlo Park Mall.

It is Franklin Food Bank’s largest fundraiser, with the involvement of over 660 riders in the previous year, raising a total of $60,000 in a single day. Months of planning, support from many local business, the engagement of cyclists, and volunteers from the community are what makes the day a success.
