NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ—With the summer season well underway, New Brunswick city officials and businesses owners are prepared to begin the fifth annual restaurant week.

Each year, dozens of New Brunswick-based restaurants participate in this two week event with various specials, discounts and deals for costumers.

For 2014, Restaurant Week will span from the 12th to the 26th of July, and features 29 participants.  The two-week program is hosted by the New Brunswick City Market.

“New Brunswick has it all”, reads a press release by the City Market.

“The most delicious two weeks of summer gives the dining community an opportunity to enjoy exceptional meals, no matter what their budget is, offering a restaurant option for everyone.”

Several new businesses, such as World of Beer and BurgerFi, will be participating in the program this year.

Other longtime establishments, such as Due Mari, had been a part of the city for many years, but will be participating in Restaurant Week for the first time.

Due Mari, located at the corner of Albany and Neilsen Streets, will offer 2-course menus for lunch, as well as 3-course menues for dinner.

Some stores will offer select discounts with a minimum dollar purchase.
